One year ago Frank Arrigo launched TechTalkBlogs, a project to aggregate local (Aust. & NZ) .NET bloggers. It started out as an OPML file that Frank maintained, but it grew too large.  So the TechTalkBlogs site was born, providing a centralised location to find local .NET information.

This gives us a a way to see the most up to date and interesting news items from around the local technology & blogging community. We have also included the Kiwi .NET Bloggers OPML, (as maintained by Nic Wise) so it’s a truly ANZ community.

I joined a month ago, and I’ve found a whole bunch of great new bloggers through its RSS feed.  Today Frank released the stats after a year, there’s now 323 different feeds being aggregated, with 30,462 individual items posted.  That’s a lot of stuff!

I wanted a way to promote the TTB site here.  Frank has an animated gif banner on his site, but I just not a big fan of the animated gif, so I cracked out Paint.NET and had a bit of a creative moment.  Here’s the results:

Ok, so they’re nothing special. But if you want to share the TTB love, then feel free to grab these and use them. (They’re hosted by DivShare, so no need to worry about downloading them locally.
