The image of coffee farmers stooping to pick up poo in coffee plantations is an idealised story of times passed. Apparently the poor things are kept cooped up in filthy conditions and fed coffee beans, with consumer demand comes another cruel farming process. Keep that in mind when you pay your $50 bucks a cup!
